Oh, but this week’s number one movie is the Lorax
The film about him who is not happy with the other him with an ax
That man with an ax and the many like him, did they see?
Did they agree to go out as their kids constantly plea?
For the kids they read the book and already know
That their daddies also ought to read the book and grow
Grow in the know, know to say NO,
Do what’s but right and show
Daddies care too for trees, lilies, fish and bees,
All of nature, there is, all but too lovely to miss
Go kiss a daddy who used to cut trees
Go hug a mommy they’d surely love this
See the movie Lorax as a family
Learn, laugh, chuckle, giggle, all in glee
Pardon the random, rapid rhyming. Being excited about a Dr.Seuss' film can do that. This March 14 the film is finally showing in the Philippine theatres. My daughter since last month is doing a count down --- "how many more sleeps?" It's great to know that a film about caring for the environment could create such excitement --- and that ON KIDS! It's wonderful and interesting to note that the book by Dr. Seuss from which the movie was based was published way back in 1971! How well can they keep excitement in the libraries!
Take your kids. Take your parents too!
There should be much to enjoy and learn.
“ Its not about what it is, Its about what it can become.” --- the quote is from Lorax. Change for good can happen. "A tree falls the way it leans. Be careful which way you lean." --- and this early, let's direct and guide our kids lest they fall the wrong way.
